Betsy has been married over 40 years to her husband, Brian, and they have two grown daughters, Sarah and Laura. Betsy has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, and taught 30 years in the Norwalk City School District. She was named in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers for three years. Betsy was nominated for the Disney Teacher of the Year Award, was Norwalk’s Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year, and is listed in the Biltmore Who’s Who Among Executives and Professional Women, Honors Edition.
Betsy has served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher, and director of two LOGOS Youth Choirs. She was a Chancel Choir member for 30 years and has also served on many church committees. Since retiring from teaching, Betsy has followed the Lord’s leading into a speaking and singing ministry and has written over 50 praise and worship songs, and her first CD, Intimate Worship: At the Foot of his Throne, is now available. Betsy has authored and presented workshops, served as a featured vocalist, and has delivered inspirational messages to church congregations, retreats, and women’s conferences nation-wide.
